Closing Foundry is an operator-led revenue execution business for founder-led and scaling B2B software teams. It helps teams close the gap between target, forecast and actuals by fixing or building the system underneath how the team sells.
What it is
Closing Foundry is not a commercial execution programme built around James’s frameworks. It is a productised revenue execution company founded and led by Charles Talbot.
The core method is Closing OS: Design → Enable → Run.
The work focuses on the practical things that decide whether revenue becomes easier to repeat, inspect and manage: who the team sells to, how value is explained, how deals are qualified and progressed, what evidence proves movement, how the CRM reflects reality and how the week is run.
Why it exists
Most revenue misses are created upstream and seen too late.
Pipeline can look healthy until close rates tell a different story. Forecast calls can become a debate about which deals to believe. Sellers can use the same stages but mean different things by them. The CRM can show activity without showing risk.
Closing Foundry exists to bring that truth forward early enough to act on it.
What it produces
Closing Foundry work usually produces a practical mix of diagnosis, blueprint, stage standards, qualification rules, playbooks, CRM workflow, scorecards, coaching tools and operating rhythm.
In 5 Days to Scale, the output is a diagnosis, GTM blueprint and 90-day plan.
In Closing OS Install, the output is the installed system: stage architecture, playbooks, CRM workflow, coaching cadence, deal inspection and forecast discipline run with the team until it shows up in live deals.
What is live now
The current Closing Foundry commercial spine is:
- GTM Benchmark: a diagnostic that identifies where the revenue motion is limited and what to fix or build first.
- 5 Days to Scale: the paid Design sprint and front door.
- Closing OS Install: the 90-day Design → Enable → Run flagship offer.
Supporting offers such as Strategic Enablement, Playbooks, RevOps and CRM Design, Closing Bootcamp and Run Extension exist to support the Closing OS path.
