# Projects

> Active and completed projects with documented scope, outputs, and execution context.

## What this section is

Project pages document initiatives James Varga has run or is running — with scope, purpose, what has been produced, and what is live. Projects are distinct from companies: a project is a bounded initiative with defined outputs; a company is an operating entity.

Projects in this wiki range from commercial execution programmes to content and community-building initiatives. Each project page links to the frameworks used, knowledge areas drawn on, and outputs produced.

## Projects in this section

[Closing Foundry](/projects/closing-foundry) is an operator-led revenue execution business founded and led by Charles Talbot. It helps founder-led and scaling B2B software teams close the gap between target, forecast and actuals by installing the Closing OS: Design → Enable → Run. James Varga supports selected Closing Foundry routes through fintech, Scotland, public-sector and ecosystem relationships, and leads selected delivery for fintech start-ups and scale-ups. The current Closing Foundry system uses the [GTM Benchmark](/frameworks/gtm-benchmark), [5 Days to Scale](/frameworks/5-days-to-scale) and Closing OS Install.

[Business AI Alliance](/projects/business-ai-alliance) is an initiative focused on practical AI adoption in business and regulated settings. It connects to the [AI in Regulated Markets](/knowledge/ai-regulated) knowledge area and produces guidance for operators navigating AI deployment in compliance-constrained environments.

[Building Scotland: Conversations](/projects/building-scotland-conversations) is a structured interview and content series exploring Scotland's technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem. It connects to the [Scotland Ecosystem Building](/knowledge/ecosystem) knowledge area.

[Lessons from a Fintech](/projects/lessons-from-a-fintech) is a documented reflection on the arc of building, operating, and exiting a fintech business. It synthesises hard-won pattern recognition for founders at earlier stages.

[Experiments](/projects/experiments/index) is a running log of smaller tests, prototypes, and time-limited initiatives.

## How projects connect to other sections

Projects reference the frameworks they use and the knowledge areas they draw on. Companies are the operating entities within which projects run. See [Frameworks](/frameworks/index) and [Knowledge](/knowledge/index) for the conceptual and methodological layers.
