# Frameworks

> Reusable operating frameworks for AI maturity, commercial diagnosis, execution sequencing, and decision-making — built from operator practice.

## What this section is

Frameworks are reusable methods with defined inputs, steps, and outputs. Each framework in this wiki was built from direct application — developed through repeated use in fintech, open banking, and regulated-market commercial contexts, then documented for reuse. They are practical tools, not theoretical models.

Frameworks differ from knowledge pages: knowledge pages explain a concept; framework pages give you a procedure you can follow.

## How to use it

Each framework page follows a consistent structure: what it is, who it is for, prerequisites, inputs, a numbered step sequence, what good looks like, common failure modes, and related pages.

Use the [AI Maturity Roadmap](/frameworks/ai-maturity-roadmap) to assess where a bank or regulated institution sits on the AI adoption journey and what must happen next. Use [ACE Prompting](/frameworks/ace-prompting) for structured briefing of AI models and teams. Start with the [GTM Benchmark](/frameworks/gtm-benchmark) when you need a first read on where the revenue motion is under strain. Use [5 Days to Scale](/frameworks/5-days-to-scale) when you need to work out what to fix or build first across the sales system.

## Frameworks in this section

[AI Maturity Roadmap](/frameworks/ai-maturity-roadmap) is a nine-stage framework for banks and regulated institutions navigating AI adoption. It sequences the journey from awareness through shadow AI, tool standardisation, workflow integration, supervised autonomy, and onward to an adaptive organisation. Produced through the [Business AI Alliance](/projects/business-ai-alliance) initiative.

[5 Days to Scale](/frameworks/5-days-to-scale) is the paid Design sprint for [Closing Foundry](/companies/closing-foundry). In five days it works out what to fix or build first across the sales system — ICP, value story, qualification, sales stages, buyer evidence, CRM truth and the weekly rhythm — and produces a GTM blueprint with a 90-day plan.

[GTM Benchmark](/frameworks/gtm-benchmark) is the current Closing Foundry diagnostic. It shows whether the revenue motion is being limited by Volume, Efficiency, Control or Expansion, identifies where the issue shows up and which KPI is likely under pressure, and points to the first operating fix to start with. It is a first read; the full diagnosis lives in 5 Days to Scale.

[ACE Prompting](/frameworks/ace-prompting) is a three-step briefing framework for getting reliable output from AI models and human teams. Align the assignment, Confirm the constraints, Execute with a quality bar. Built from daily practice with LLMs and documented from the [Prompt Like a Leader](/content/thoughts/prompt-like-a-leader) and [ACE Prompting](/content/thoughts/augmented-generalist) writing.

[The Founder's 2×2](/frameworks/founders-2x2) is a decision-making framework that crosses two independent axes — how a mind generates ideas (lateral / linear) and how a person responds to others' ideas (yes-and / yes-but) — yielding four operating modes: Ideation, Provocation, Execution, Audit. The value is in knowing when to switch between them rather than picking one to live in.

## How frameworks connect to other sections

Frameworks are applied within [Projects](/projects/index) and informed by [Knowledge](/knowledge/index) area context. The commercial frameworks ([5 Days to Scale](/frameworks/5-days-to-scale), [GTM Benchmark](/frameworks/gtm-benchmark)) sit inside the [Closing Foundry](/companies/closing-foundry) product architecture and are maintained at [closingfoundry.com](https://www.closingfoundry.com). The [Business AI Alliance](/projects/business-ai-alliance) project is the primary context for AI adoption frameworks.
